Sensitive SunSafe®

Protecting Sensitive Skin.

Purpose of this report: To identify sun protection products that prioritise sensitive skin considerations, ingredient transparency and reduced irritation potential.

The SunSafe® Sensitive category highlights products that align with The Sunscreen List™ approach to sensitive skin sun protection.

Not all sensitive skin reacts to the same ingredients.

That's why we created our own assessment framework.

What Are The Sensitive SunSafe® Report Criteria:

UVA protection
Allergen advice
Vitamin E and other antioxidants
Non-comedogenic testing
Synthetic ingredients
Preservatives
Essential oils
Fragrances
Current scientific evidence

The Verdict:

Every SunSafe® Sensitive product has been independently reviewed against our current sensitive skin criteria.

The Facts:

No sunscreen suits every body or every face.

The SunSafe® Sensitive category was created to help consumers identify products that may be better suited to young, mature and fragile dermal layers, including those prone to irritation, acne eczema, rosacea or sensitivity concerns.

The category assesses UVA protection, allergen advice, Vitamin E and other antioxidants, non-comedogenic testing, and the presence or absence of synthetic ingredients, preservatives, essential oils and fragrances.

The Sunscreen List™ celebrates the brands doing the right thing for people and the planet - above and below the surface.

See the tick, trust The List™
